On-site X-rays

We perform on-site X-rays as needed for our patients. X-ray is used to diagnose many medical conditions, including:

  • Fracture or dislocation of bones

  • Alignment of bones after treatment

  • Pneumonia

  • Location of foreign objects

  • Injury or damage from infection, arthritis, abnormal bone growths, osteoporosis and other bone diseases or conditions

What you should know:

  • Patients may be asked to remove some or all clothing and wear a gown during the exam.

  • Patients will be asked to remove jewelry, eye glasses and any metal objects or piece of clothing that might interfere with the X-ray images.

  • Women should inform their physician or X-ray technologist as to the possibility of pregnancy; most imaging tests are not performed during pregnancy as radiation can cause harm to the fetus.

  • If an X-ray is necessary, precautions will be taken to minimize radiation exposure to the baby.
